Nothing gives Aaron and I a greater honor than building a close friendship with our clients. Josh and Kara got married on June 13, 2015, yet that was not the only grand occasion they asked us to photograph. Fast forward a little over 2 years and here we were together again, laughing and catching up on life as we captured the stunning baby bump of their first child together. We have always had a special connection with Kara and Josh, due to Kara working at the high school I, Annay, went to. She is an awesome, hard working, ESL teacher, which is close to my heart since I took many ESL classes growing up. The way Kara would talk about Godwin High School and even Josh showing her off by telling us times Kara went above and beyond for her students, just made us fall in love with the type of people they are. When they contacted us, letting us know their little family was growing our hearts filled with so much joy and love. Aaron knew he was in big trouble since photographing babies really brings out my baby fever and oh my goodness did Mr. Jerome Hoyt Higgs tug at my heartstrings!
The Higgs ended up deciding on booking our watch me grow package, which allows us to follow the first year of baby's life. I always love seeing babies grow into their own personalities and go from just a little tiny human to a crawling/walking energetic 1 year old! It really is such a beauty to witness!
Kara and Josh, we can't thank you enough for allowing Aaron not just into your lives but for letting us do what we love best and capture your story and show the world just how stunning you and your family are. We love you guys so much, and we can't wait to see Jerome grow into a marvelous, smart and lovely boy.... just like his parents!
