"Our anniversary is just a momentary celebration, but our marriage is a timeless one." - Unknown

Calie & Evan have always been a special couple to Aaron and myself. It’s so crazy to think that we had no clue Aaron and Calie met when they were just little kids. Aaron’s mom and Aunt were great friends with Calie’s mom, so they have actually known each other a lot longer than either of them knew! I was thinking that due to that, is the very reason why Calie and Evan felt extra special to us. Since day one, we have always felt connected with them. Their wedding blog goes into a little more detail as to why Aaron will forever cherish their wedding day! A tiny hint…it’s all thanks to Queen! ;) Click here to find out!

It was a year after their wedding and Calie wanted to document her and Evan cutting into their wedding cake! As tradition you freeze the top of your cake for a year and then cut into, all in hoping that it tastes just as great as it did 365 day prior! Well hats off to Calie & Evan’s baker…it tasted DELICIOUS…and yes of course I tasted it! It’s cake! Seriously it was so good that we wanted to take home a slice! But we took photos instead and it was just as amazing! We head to Pigeon Creek Park, which is just a short drive from their house. We did have to wait until the rain stopped pour down, however we didn’t mind it since it let us catch up with one another. The trees had great colors and we walked through tall grass and all to make sure we got the perfect fall shot. We were so pleased with everything we capture and it gave us such a privilege that Calie and Evan wanted us to document their first anniversary. We are so excited to witness may more anniversary and hope to be a part of each and every single one of them! So much love to you guys and can’t wait to get you both in front of the camera again!

365 days later & twice the love…
