Dog (noun) : The best friend you will ever have. A loyal, loving companion that cares for you more than itself. A special creature whose time in your heart will far outnumber its day on earth. 

One the last day Nookaa was here on earth, The Bott's family decided to capture the day and remember their beautiful four-legged family member. Dogs to Aaron and I are a sweet spot for us. I mean we have four dogs! Saying we are dog people is the understatement of the year. So when Wendy messaged us to photographed Nookaa's special day we absolutely could NOT resist. 

Lost is unfortunately not new to the Bott's family. Aaron's nephew Jordan (Wendy, Jason and John's son) passed away earlier this year. Nookaa was Jordan' best friend, they would go on long walks together and explore the world together. Jordan was an artist so he loved seeing the world in different ways and Nookaa was nothing but thrilled to join the ride along. Saying Nookaa was a special dog doesn't come close to the feelings this family had towards him. He was one of a kind and nothing gave us a great honor to do this session for not just the Bott's family, but for Nookaa too. An amazing tribute to an amazing animal, thank you for loving your family Nookaa. They will miss you every day.
