There is absolutely nothing I love more than photographing a wedding that is not just filled with love but also culture. Calum is from Scotland and 100% proud of it. It brought me so much joy to see him and Rebekah do some Scottish Traditions. As soon as Rebekah told me that they had a Bagpipe Player for the ceremony and reception, I was was overwhelmed with excitement. I had never seen a bagpipe player, nor heard bag-piping music. Being a Mexican and regretting not doing some traditional things at my wedding I am able to observe and appreciate other wedding traditions. I even loved how Calum waited to go to the buffet until his bride and all her family went first.

Not only were the traditions beautiful, but oh my was Rebekah's dress absolutely exquisite! From the tulle, the beading and the row of satin buttons in the back. Every detail in her dress fit her perfectly and you can see it was made for her to wear on the biggest day of her life.

The love that Rebekah and Calum have is unique and actually reminds me of Aaron and I. They both are young, however, that didn't mean that they had to wait one more second in knowing whether they were made for each other. Just by staring in each others eyes, the giggles immediately come out, naturally. It is always just a delight to photograph a couple that is just naturally filled with laughter, love and life. We are excited to see what the future holds for them and wish them nothing but the best. We can not wait to visit them in Scotland and do another session at their home! Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Calum McDermott! Cheers!
